how do i tax my car with no log book?? i have recently brought a car from my friend with no log book, i have insured the vehicle but cant tax it without a log book. Is there anyway around this????

You can use the green slip/portion of the v5 that you should have been given when you got the car, otherwise you may have to wait till you get the full v5 document.
