i have a Peugeot 206 and on the dash board i get a spanner follewed by a number which seems to be going up in 50's every few days. what is this??

I think it may be overdue for its service and counter reset.

this is how many miles you have left until the car needs serviced. ie if it says 12450 then you will need the car serviced in that many miles. when it gets down to 4 or 5 thousand get the car serviced.
