Hi I have a Fiat Punto 2003 (early) the windscreen wipers have started stopping in the middle of the screen we have changed the arms prior to this problem but then had the frosty weather? and this problem started any suggestions or do we have to change motor.

Probably the wiper arms have slipped off the rubber connectors on the moving arm. If you open the bonnet you'll see how it works.

Simple to fix just turn the wipers on till the moving arm is in a good position to reattach the wiiper arms (might need a couple of tried) - they them just pop back on. They will slip out again - so I've used "Halfords Metal Cable Ties Large HFX419 " to wrap round the join and through the hole a couple of times. Has worked so far - not idea but seems ok.
