Once program has been selected, the dishwasher runs for approximately 5 mins and then beeps to indicate that it has ended. When in fact all it has done is has doen is spray water on the dishes. We have checked salt, rinse aid levels, no blockages as water is draining away. We have unplugged it in hopes that it will reset. We have noticed that the flap for the dishwasher powder is not opening.

our dishwasher runs only part way through a program. water does not warm up. dishwasher beeps continually when it stops. light shows rinse progam even when started on another progam. could anyone help?
