Miele G640 Circulation pump water leak?

I have a water leak from the circulation motor. The rubber seal between the motor shaft and impeller needs replacing. How do I get the impeller off the shaft to get to this seal and is it possible to get a new rubber seal. I dont want to fork out hundreds of pounds for a new circulating pump when it just needs a new rubber seal ?

Just curious if you managed to sort this issue out? I have exactly the same issue where I see water leaking from the small hole between the motor and the impeller housing. Could you get the repair kit? Is there a part number you could share? Thanks!

I tried Miele, they will only sell the complete motor/pump assembly. £250. A bit cheaper than they used to be but still not worth it on a 5 year old machine.

Hello, had the same problem but had to take the motor to pieces to get a good grip. Seal inside was cracked. Where can you get the kit from, I can't find it anywhere.

Thanks.. The seal under the impeller has a small extra hole.. so I will get on to miele for a repair kit..

You can buy a kit which includes the seal.
To get the impeller off, jam the pump at the back to stop it turning, with the handle of insulated pliars or similar. Be careful not to break the blade. Twist the impeller by hand CLOCKWISE. ie it has a left hand thread.
