Yamaha aerox wont start when cold?

My Yamaha aerox YQ50 is a problem to start when its cold, it will start after i have kicked it about 40 times. Is this something to do with the auto choke or the thermostat.

Hi it sounds like the head gas kit is letting water/coolent in somwere i had the same problem and changed this and it fired stright away now run perfect.Has the bike got alot of compression piston rings not warn.
