wiring a cooker element?

i wan to know if my element is wired in properly (Bauatic b904.1ss-b) .am i right in saying that the earthing cable goes into the midde and the other two connectors go either side. does it matter which way round the wires go.

yes the live and neutral go to either terminal,the earth in the middle
