rumbling noise on 1.1 saxo?

At approx 30 35 mph I have a rumbling noise on a 1.1 Saxo petrol. It is n ot present at low speeds. What is likely to be the problem please?

go to any tyre shop an ask them to check that there are no bulges in your tyres , whilst they have the car on the ramp ask to see if there is any play in your rear wheel bearings !! does the steering shake ???
