my beko fills with water after the wash has finished?

Hi I'm hoping somebody can help me. My Beko washing machine fills with foul smelling water after the wash cycle has finsihed, all the clothes have been removed! If I put the washing machine on a spin cycle it drains it but something is definitley wrong? I have checked the hoses and the filters, cleaned the U bend but nothing seems to work.

Any Ideas?

thanks

Thanks for that, my step dad plumbed in the machine so Ill have a look later. All the connectors are plumbed in under the sink. ie there is a pipe which comes down from the sink and off this runs a "connector pipe" onto the drain hose from the washing machine. The connector pipe runs up wards away from the pipe coming down from the sink. Clear as mud I guess.

Ill have a look thanks.

Your Beko is plumbed into to a sink waste and I'm guessing you plumbed it in yourself!

Make sure that the waste hose runs upwards from the machine to a point higher than the sink trap (and let the hose fall downwards towards the sink trap spigot connector.

If you look at the run of the pipe, If you let water out the plughole of your sink, can it flow down into the washing machine? Connect it as above (ie the waste water from your sink cannot run uphill and down into the machine.

If you have the installation instructions for the machine, Reconnect the waste hose exactly as suggested in the picture diagrams most washing machine manufacturers supply in their instructions.
