My Sunbeam Toaster T-20B (purchased in 1955) has stopped lowering the bread for toasting. It worked fine yesterday.....today is doesn't work. Can it be repaired? If so, where, how? It has such sentimental meaning that I don't won't to just relace it if it can be repaired. thank you.

Open the bottom of the toaster and turn screw counter-clockwise one half turn. It worked for me!
