my pressure gauge keeps overheating making the radiators and tap water far to hot, i have to keep topping it up as the safety valve blows off at 3 bars. could it be the overheat cut off thermostat
the pressure gauge can't overheat or cause water to be too hot when the system is cold the pressure should be 1-1.5 bar if when the boiler comes on it rises very quickly over 3 bar then you've a problem with the pressure vessel before you do some serious damage suggest you go to ferolli website view your boiler manual it explains how the boiler works

hi, unlikely stat fault as it has 2 stats, possibly expansion vessel lost charge pressure ( 1.5 bar ) or it needs replacement.
