renault megane coupe?

one of my clients had a bit of a brainstorm, and bought a 1999 renault megane coupe 1600cc.
his near side rear wheel siezed up, aa man suspected a spring had broken. so after said aa man getting "car" home, client called me out, took wheel off and brake drum was completly solid. took wheel nut and circlip off, and using my 4lb lump hammer thoughout the range from gentle tap to full on thump - nothing, just a small amount of movement on one side then back again when tapping from opposite side, am going to try a puller tomorrow, just need to know if i am missing anything, (apart from taking car to scrappy).would be very grateful any advice on how to remove drum.

make sure handbrake is off chock front wheels lift back up need rubber mallet even but hard bangs all the way round drum dont use puller as will damage the drum also use something like a tyre lever applying pressure agaist the drum as banging pushing the same way as removal so in other words bang and pull at the same time all the way round the drum so it has comes off even as the brake shoes will pinch if not taken off evenly

dont remove it,just take it to the scrappy and if you pass any more on the way, broken down, which is a very good chance, just haul them off too,at least its one less Renault to worry about.
