hard to get into gear?

Hi all, and thank`s to all who take the time to reply.

I have a citroen dispatch v plate that is proving a bit difficult to get into gear.

This has just recently started to happen. There is no grinding or crunching noises and it goes into every gear including reverse.

Anyone know where to start fault finding.
Thank's: Sean

hi sean,if that is the case, not sure on your model but the selector linkage/cables may be worn/out of adjustment

Hi cdc, i tried what you said. It is still hard to put into gear with the engine turned off.
1st, 3rd and 5th offered more resistance than 2nd and fourth

if it goes into gear ok with the engine switched off you may have a clutch problem,if it is cable operated you may be able to adjust it to help clutch clear a bit more
