VW lt46?

My vw lt46 drives well but when idiling its all over the place.sometimes when driving it drops into emergency mode{still driving but at slow speed] I've had the injectors checked and cleaned.fuel pump set. new fuel filter ,and had it serviced . No smoke problems. Any thoughts would help.

very difficult to have work done on turbos usually they are a throwaway item as parts cannot be got'

possble fault code of boost pressure sensor faulty.

might need to be plugged into vw diagnostic to get good direction

hav'nt had her plugged in yet.
Would it detect problem with wastgate?
had work done on turbo a while back will check back with mech who did work.
Thanks for these ideas they are giving me a new direction to look at

possibly a fault in turbo wastgate .opens and fails to close .causing lack of power .by turning of ignition it resets itself and you go again

It is a 2.5lt it loses power at different speeds although can drive well for 90% of the time.
There is no change in erractic tickover when foot on clutch.
When driving and van loses power I turn it off then on again she kicks starts herself and drives but this can happen up to 10-12 times over a short space of time.

is it 2.5 litre or 2.8
does it loose power at 80 km try turning off key and back on . does power come back.

does erratic tickover go away when foot on clutch
