escort van 2002 1.8d?

radiator fan constantly running ,have changed thermostat to no avail.no overheating probs with engine. makes engine run cool and cool interior heating.?

there isn't a thermal switch on radiator it is on engine thermostat housing!

If your fan is constantly running it will overheat and burn out. I would look at the radiator and there is a sensore there unplug the cable and that should stop the fan from running .if so the sensore has failed in the radiator .run to the scrap yard and replace the sensore its an easy job. just remeber if youve unplugged the fan you can use the heater/blower in your van to cool the engine eg when stuck in trafic. just keep ur eye on the temp gauge when stood .ive run vehicles for years like this.let us know how you fair
