It's a McCulloch 18" chainsaw, 46cc. I am having trouble getting the engine to start. I have followed the instructions (what there is of them) in the book and done everything to the letter. The mix of fuel is right, the stop switch is off and the stop chain is off, and nothing obvious is leaping at me. Any ideas people?

If it's brand new, I'd take it back and get a refund. Spend the money on a Stihl.
