Pump blockage on Fisher & Paykel Excellence 7.5kg?

After the rinse cycle the machine will not empty the water and progress to the spin cycle. I was told that the pump obviously had a blockage and needed to be cleaned. How do I get to the pump to clean this? Are there any blueprints for the engine/internals of this machine? Do I need to take the top of the machine off? If so how do I do this?

It is on the bottom, under the drum. Get all the water you can out from the machine (siphon with a garden hose). Unplug from the wall. Tip the machine over about 45 degrees and lean it against the nearest wall. From underneath, disconnect the two wires from the motor. Put a bucket under pump motor. Pull outwards on the plastic catch lever (between the pump and the bottom of the drum) while you twist the motor/pump anti clockwise. After a 1/4 turn the whole thing lifts right out (with a little water). Clear the obsticle(s) by USING a torch to see what's in the pump aperture and after putting a bucket under the hole where the pump was, blow back through the pumpout hose and then put it back-in (the opposite way to how you took it out).
