Zanussi Built-in oven ZDQ495X main oven is not working?

Everything else ok though. It went off when it was heating up, causing the 'trip' to go but when we put it back on it looked fine, except I noticed the oven was now not heating.

Is it a simple job to correct?

Simple ish!
if you open the oven door and look at the back where the fan is you will see a cover plate held on with 4 screw.remove that and you will see a round element around the fan.this is the bit that has probably blown.undo the screws that hold the element to the back and carefully pull it away from the back.as you pull it you will see the wires that are attached to the element.disconnect then and fit to the new element.refit in reverse.that's it really!!.takes me 15 mins but may take you a little longer but not out of the question for you to be able to do.part available from ebay sellers cheaply
