De Dietrich induction hob modle DTI 309 will not switch on ?????

Weird letters come on when trying to switch hob on cannot even change time on clock. tried switching all power off but still not luck........ my manual is not in english so have no idea what is the matter any help please.........

If the hob is locked, it will display 07. Try pressing simultaneously on the locking buttons (-,+) until the display goes out.

The child proof lock is set by pressing the same buttons simultaneously.
