Oven Grill?

I have a Leisure Rangemaster 110 Gas cooker.
The grill doesn't work very well. I took the grill apart and found that gas was escaping through the seam at the front (nearest the door) of the burner bar. I called in the repair company hoping that they would be able to supply a new burner bar for the grill but was told that it is obsolete.
I telephoned Rangemaster spares department and they confirmed that my grill was changed in 2009 and that they don't keep spares for my grill anymore. They said that I could still use the cooker but not the grill (Oh joy).
Having looked at the new grill I can see that the grill tap is in the same position as mine, so my question is; "Would it be possible to fit the new grill to my cooker, given that I will probably have to get a new piece of pipe from the gas tap to the injector, and new tube from the injector to the burner grill"?
My serial no. is 5337 002276
Thanks in anticipation
