I have an indesit w143s, recently when it has been on its spin cycle it has sounded as though it was going to take off. Then yesterday it made a sound as though the drum was going to fly out at me. The drum is still attached to everything inside however it does move quite freely inside. Any ideas?

re-evel the unit. if it still does it then the driveshaft is bent. If you move an appliance laying down without a stablizer insert, up and down stairs or shipping, this can happen. Anyone whos planning to move should visit their appliance seller and ask
him for an insert before they load up the dolly.
