Prepare to become a wmc expert,
75% of wmc faults are one of two things.
1/ Motor brushes worn. Cheap and easy to fit, buy a pair from your local domestic appliance repair place.
2/ Outlet pump jammed with stray hair clips / coins. Follow the outlet hose backwards to find the pump. Remove hoses and remove debris from pump, check pump spins by hand.
It sounds like you have problem number 2.
