Took batteries out and charged on separate charger as unit didn't seem to hold charge. When put back in handset is engaged. Base phone still works but not the additional handset. When I press R button window says "internal call to handset". What do I do to fix this. If I buy another BT cordless phone will it still work with original base unit. Hope someone can help.
