water leaks onto floor from zanussi zdc47100w drier?

Hi: drier works ok but water ends up on the floor instead of in the water tray. The tray is empty!

mine is the same, it is the valve, spring valve and a rubber ring missing at the back of the drier. tip it up, take water container out and you should see.

Mine does the same and I have just spent two hours figuring out how the valve assembly goes back together but with some of the parts clearly missing. I suspect that the valve is held under tension from the spring and a small O ring that stops the valve assembly from being pulled through the valve body and also acts as the valve face. I can't find the O rings listed as a spare part so I will have to try the likes of Maplin etc.

if the water container is a the top then it could be a drain pump issue. If the water container is at the bottom then it could be a blockage or a faulty valve.either way you need to take the top and side panels off to access parts
