Have a vista20se with a wireless motion sensor in stand alone garage. Cannot arm system (shows check 09- which is zone for wireless sensor). Changed batteries but sensor still does not light up when there is motion. It did send tamper signal when batteries were removed. Is there a way to check motion before buying new one or is there a way to delete motion from system. System will not let me bypass motion.

I think you will find that 09 is the/a Tamper circuit, it always has been on any Vista I've worked on.

Panel lid, KeyPad tamper, tamper return from sounder, tamper from any additional power supply boxes you may have etc etc.

Get the idea?
