my daughter has 2005 Renault megane sports tourer.
when she put the card in to start the car ,a notice came up saying steering locked ,when it was not ,there were no lights coming up on the dash,although the car lights and the horn were both working.she tried disconnection the battery and reconnection again, but the same message came up .anyone any ideas .thanks James

The best thing, was have not bought the car in the first place. If you type Renault into the search box, you will see 207 pages of problems that other people have had with these crap cars, yet people still buy them. Sadly, your not the first one to have problems, and certanly won't be the last, get rid of it quick.
