The voicemail icon on the 2nd handset is flashin continuously, along with the aerial symbol flashing. I have tried default setting, re-registering, but it looks like the flashing envelope icon is preventing it. I have tried switching off at the mains; removing batteries from the handset, waiting 30 secs before replacing, but still cannot get it to connect to the base station.

I posted this initially. Have been on to Philips tech.lot this pm. With their guidance tried a 'hard reset'ie.-remove batteries, then hold in the green/call button for 5 secs; then replace batteries. Voicemail symbol and antenna symbol still flashing. Tried a reset in advance setting, but 'confirm' would not come up, so it looks as though No.2. handset is faulty. However, if anyone has any further remedies, please post.
