I am in need of a the powercord/foot peddle for my Singer 690U - Magic bobbin Sewing machine. It was manufactured in Japan. I took my machine to a repair store to have it oiled and cleaned and tuned up and when I got my machine home the power cord was gone. The gentleman at the store cannot find it. He offered me $30 for replacement of the item. Can someone help me find one. I desperately need it so that I can continue sewing my bedspreads I am making. Thanks so much.

Hello Rita,
You should find that the plug in the end of your machine is pretty standard for most Singer models but if you go to www.tandtrepair.com that is your best bet.
