I removed the back plate to replace a batterie on my timex expedition indigo CA2016 but once I got it off I noticed that it has a small round pad glued on the underside which I assume needs to be properly oriented for the probes within the watch to get the current they need. I'm confused as to how it was originally oriented.

I understand that you have to turn the watch over ,then place the arrow facing to the right.
