I have a 2002 Avondale Avocet which is cream in colour. Does any one know what the colour is or the code as I need to repaint the rear offside which has been repaired in the past (not done very well) as the paint is now flaking off.
barley white log book may say ivory paint is b.s4800

If they still are trading give them a ring and find out what paint and if there is a colour code.
It's a long explanation to say how it should be done. You may have to get Auto spray paint...primer and top coat followed by clear laquer to protect the paint applied. Carborundum sand sheet wet & dry it's commonly called Medium for first sand down and fine sheet wet for the finishing coats around 3 coats. wet sand each of the first two allowing each to thoroughly dry before applying next coat... don't sand down the final coat if first two are ok ensure its flat especially around edges where it meets existing surface paint then spray final coat allow to dry and the finally spray over the repaint with the laquer.
