I have same problem. I have taken off the idler wheel and placed a washer between this and the lower plate to stop the idler wheel wobbling. Not easy and may not work.
Try a larger v belt?

The belt on mine constantly comes off after a few yards of cutting moderate grass, the collection tube becomes blocked and cannot be used, machine cannot be used in damp grass, the dealer cannot find any fault.
