how to fit a new belt to a dyson dc04 absolute?

Hi Eric, first of all remove the brush head by prising it off the brush head housing, then undo the 3 screws securing the clutch cover on. Remove the large plastic brush control knob from the clutch and prize the clutch complete with belts from the machine. You will then off course have to get another clutch. The DC04s, 07s and 14s with brush control are all the same. You have to remove the clutch from the cleaner. I have previously described how to remove the clutch on a DC04 Absolute. See the question about a DC04 making a loud noise.
