Using the machine for the first time since it was serviced last year. All looks and sounds ok but nothing is moving when foot pedal is pressed. Machine looks like it moves ok with the hand wheel. Read another response and took out the bobbin case as suggested. However, have done this several times and it worked only once for just a few stitches. Can't think what else to do.

Hello Louise,
When you press on the foot control can you hear a buzzing sound from the motor ?
When you free off the stop motion as if to wind a bobbin does the balance wheel turn when you press on the foot control ?
if you take out the bobbin case and shuttle does the machine work when you press on the control?
