have checked everything on my dryer has got power and been cleaned, The lights all flash but it still won't turn on ?

there is a piece of plastic behind the buttons that breaks and will not allow the start button to be pressed.it is called a diffuser and cost about £10.to replace it requires you to take the whole front control panel off
