how to fix defy 610t stove?

when turning on the oven the warming drawer light also comes on but no action in the oven

Hello . I have a Defy 610T stove/oven/warmer combo. When i switch on the oven (to any temp. setting, it gets very very hot. Could it be the thermostat or the switch?
