Zanussi washing machine stopped mid cycle...HELP?

Hi there
I have a Zanussi ZWF 1631 F washing machine that has just stopped mid cycles.
It is still full of water and has clothing inside.
I have tried using the skip button and go straight to drain but nothing happens(time display goes down for a couple of mins and then saye "E20".
Have turned off machine and tried the reset process of holding in start and skip together.
This results in all display leds to flash from top to bottom, left to right.
Then turn off machine again and "ELE" is displayed on screen.
This results in it slowly turning once to the left and then to the right repeatedly.
Have tried turning machine off and choosing different cycle but nothing happens.
I'm sure "E20" is something to do with pump but have recently took out pump and cleaned it out!
Would the machine just stop mid cycle if pump has problem?
Many thanks for any help given in advance.

E20 is a no drain issue.if there is something stuck in the drain pump impeller it would do this.Drain the water out the filter at the bottom and then check with a torch inside the filter housing to see if something is jamming the drain pump impeller.WATER WILL POUR OUT so get some towels ready!!
