My indesit IS70C condenser dryer is tripping the ELCB intermittently, the cause seems to be water lodging below both the fan and the heating element. what could be causing the water to lodge here?.

the float is housed in the grey thing at the left hand side of the dryer at the back,turn off power before you open it,you will find the float is stuck to the bottom of the tank ,clean it and all should be well

the pump at the back of the machine is faulty,or the float switch has stuck down not allowing the pump to pump water to the tank
