I have a problem with my Veritas House Alarm?

It is 7 yrs old and there is a loud buzzing noise coming from the Main Control panel. I think it maybe the battery..But not sure which one I need to buy to replace!!! I dont have the original Alarm Operating Instructions either. Can any one help please!

Also Veritas transformers can go into meltdown.

It's called Transformer Hum.

Transformers hum because their laminations and windings rattle mechanically. This is best known as mechanical hum. This can be caused by several things, including poor construction and poor AC power conditions or both.

Most alarm panel transformers do it at sometime or another, it's a pain.

Its me again..Since posting my question I have been to CEF and bought a new battery and fitted it. However, the Buzzing Noice is still there!! Any ideas please
