lovely name.but i digress,if you wish to kill the system,you have to remove all power from it,mains and battery,the bell box will sound for a while depending on the battery it has,no way to avoid it,unless you get some ladders and open it up,just be careful when working on the mains,turn all power off,open the fused spur and disconnect the wire from the spur to the control panel,start at the spur,then close the spur unit,making sure you have disconnected the right wire,i.e.the wire that goes to the alarm panel,from the spur,pull the battery leads off and thats the system dead,if you not sure get a spark to do it for you,
