gear box is noisey between 2 and 3k revs?

when driving in my van there is a rattling/scraping noise coming from the gear box in the mid range of the revs. The noise occurs when the van is under load IE like driving up hill while accelarating. The noise seems to stop when i get over about 3.5k revs. When you slightly depress the clutch the noise stops so i know by this that the engine is ok. My suspition is that there is a problem with the thrust bearing or clutch assembly. There is also a small amount of judder when setting off. Please can anybody help???? The van is 03 and 90k on the clock. Thanks in advance!

Box out check condition of release bearing and fork.good idea to check flywheel for distortion.May be best to skim and make sure bellhousing free from contamination eg.oil leakage.not skimming flywheel will result in juddering pulling away in built up traffic etc.a pain in the butt if going to the footie.should be scorn signs on flywheel.
