i bought a 54 plate aerox and i was told it hasnt been used in a while, theres alot of rust in most places and nothing seems to get it started, i replaced battery and spark plug but i dont think the fuel is getting around the bike, any help please?

the tap was blocked and i cleaned that and cleaned the carb and i bought a new spark plug but the head gasket has gone i think and bore needs replacing.

if as you say it's been standing for a while their is a chance that any fuel that was left in it has gone bad. so i would first drain the tank of any old fuel and then drain and clean the carb, and flush or replace the fuel line.

just a thought have you checked to see if you get a spark from the spark plug??
