how would i go about testing a fuel pump in a 2000 jag s type for flow and power source

When you switch the ignition on before the start postion you should hear a whiring noise from the rear, thats the fuel pump running. to check for flow take a fuel pipe off with care (Petrol fumes are highly flammable)
