replacing thermostat in Electrolux er7831?

I am fairly certain the thermostat needs replacing, but cannot see how one takes off the housing. There is a screw behind the lamp when this is removed the unit become looser but still well attached. There also appears to be something holding it at the door end where it is firmly attached. Diagrams on the Electrolux site suggest there are retaining lugs at the door end and it should slide backwards but it doesn't want to budge. Are there any other hidden fixings or how does one remove it?

To answer my own question ;-) one needs to be more vicious than I was being. As well as a screw behind the lamp there is a plastic locating plug that goes into the fridge wall. Pull on the lamp end enough & it comes free, move it away from the door & the front lugs come free and you are in.
