Galaxy 16+ factory default?

I'm trying to default a galaxy 16+ I seem to recall there was a process of linking out a zone on power up or something like that but it was many years ago when I last did it. Anyone know how to do it?

I had the flashing light problem on the keypad (change fuse or battery).

Thank you Acorn for the engineer/manager codes.

Just replaced battery (from Screwfix) on my ADT alarm and, when it asked to call ADT with code 50887, I input the engineer code and it cleared the error.

Many Thanks Acorn for your help. Its nearly 10yrs since I last had to work on a 16+. Unfortunately I dont work for ADT as they were the main users for the panel but from one alarm engineer (for over 10 yrs) to another I appreciate the help

Anyone can post what they wish, I just thought giving defaulting info was not a thing professionals did.
Yes you can trawl the web for some items, but the better equipment isnt so easy...............for a reason.

alarm guy,acorn knows as well as i do,that alarm panels are bought by crimminals as well as prof guys,they can read,believe it or not,and with those panels,what do they get?an engineering manual,so,he aint giving anything away,welcome to the real world

ENGINEER = 1122
MGR = 1234
Defaulting
To default Engineer code = short zone 1. Down power then restart.
Input Default code 1122 and then remove short.
Default Mgr code = Engineer mode option 6 Parameters, 6 User options, then 10 Reset MGR.

HOLDS all zones and parameters.
