neff 5443X2GB pump runs at start and keeps running when empy. does not go on to fill for rinse or wash cycle. caused by back up from sink disposer . now cleared.

I had the same problem. Followed the advice about laying the washing machine down on its back re the possiblity of a flooding trip switch being the problem. Water flooded the floor and now amazingly it works fine! Thanks for the advice. I have not seen this suggestion mentioned anywhere else. My dishwashing machine is a blomberg all in one.

lay the dishwasher on its back and let the water come out the base.sounds like its the anti flood switch has operated in the base
