transit van park for week, went to start a week later nothing central locking,and immoberlise not working un lock with key put jump leads on from another van still wont start just clicking sound all fine when park up is this battery or starting motor thanks colin.

Before you start spending,check battery terminals,earth end of -ve lead & engine earth strap.Clean them all & apply a little petroleum jelly to stop corrosion.If no luck,then check battery & starter.

Battery is totally knacked,its possible something like a light has been left on and this is draining the power from the battery you used to try to jump it as well. Either new battery or take out old one and charge for 24hrs and try that,if cent locking etc are not working it is deffo battery,not starter...by the way check that the jump leads are not broken...that is also a common reason you cant jump it.
