hi,the boot on my ford focus won't open until about the 4th attempt manually and with the fob. sometimes it goes crazy when i turn on the lights so i have left it unplugged (not using the boot) doors work fine. i also get a digital warning on the display" boot open".i took off the trim and removed lock with a torx screwdriver , i split it and both parts seem fine. i noticed when i removed the two tailgate lights it wouldn't work at all. i looked for shorted wires hoping it was an earth fault but no luck....was wondering if it could be the central locking module? and where it is located...just trying to localise the faulty part so i buy the CORRECT spare.....any help would be gratefully accepted....ps fuses all good....wish i had a wiring diagram to see where all the wires go but probably too hard........have a nice day.cheers

The c/locking/alarm module is behind the dash to the right of the steering column (UK) I should be able to supply you with wiring diagrams if you contact me on nige110162(at)hotmail.co.uk with all the details of the car
