When i turn my steering wheel to the right i hear a clunking noise?

i have a Renault Megane 53 plate and when i turn the steering wheel to the right i hear a clunking noise. can anybody help me on this problem?

does it happen when you turn tight in one direction ?
if its does and is a cluncking/clicking noise then its the CV joint. Fone around and ask a price to supply and fit a CV joint. Its an awkward but not terrible hard job if you know someone good with cars...a cv joint is about £20 but a garage will take £150-£250 to supply and fit.
