how to change my hotpoint washer display language

I have tried this but neither method work . Any other suggestions

This is the procedure for a WMD960, expect it will be the same for the 962.
Turn on the machine with the door open using the on/off button
Press and hold the childlock,temperature and spin buttons at the same time for approx 5 seconds. The sceen will flash.
Scrollup/down using the temperature or spin buttons until the required language is seen in the display.
Press the child lock button to save the new setting.
I have just tried this procedure myself and it worked fine.

Try this..

Press and hold the drying,delay start/temp select buttons altogether for 5 sec untill you hear a beep, then release all 3. press the dely start button to scroll through the available languages then select your chosen language by pressing the drying button once
