LOSS OF COOLING WATER.VAUXHALL VECTRA ESTATE 2LTR SRI.W REG?

I'AM HAVING TO TOP UP THE COOLING WATER A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK.THERE ARE NO LEAKS EVIDENT AND IT IS NOT OVER HEATING.I HAVE REMOVED THE OIL FILER CAP AND THE OIL DIP STICK AND THERE IS NO SIGN OF WATER OR BUILD UP OF SLUDGE.

it could be either the water pump, mine went on me, only thing is, it can destroy your engine. or the other thing it could be is the head gasket, do you notice any smoke when you start it up? if it is the gasket, it will be being burnt off or evaporating, hence, you dont see any water on the floor, hope ive helped

I would guess it's the water pump. It happened on my vectra a couple of years ago. Trouble is, it tends to leak when you're driving, ie bumps and stuff, so you don't actually see the water come out!! I just put some pellet in mine, and it sealed it up again. Trouble is, this isn't a permenant fix!!
